We are firm believers in authentic research when designing projects. This includes educating ourselves and others in the process. Our projects take us both abroad and to local regions; so whether we are learning about local soil conditions in the mountains of Virginia or why certain sandstones will last for centuries on the salty coastline of northern France, we travel, meet with the fabricators, absorb the cultures, and engage with the people.
